Quality Control Technician
Job DescriptionPerform quality checks and tests on paints, coatings, and other aerosol-based products. Document all quality and testing information along with associated paperwork such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Conduct color matching and other paint/color associated checks. Collaborate with production personnel to correct batches if out of specification. Perform physical checks as needed along with testing the actual aerosol cans and paint for functionality.

- Conduct physical checks and test aerosol cans and paints for functionality.
- Exp in quality control and quality assurance.
- Experience with quality testing, quality checks, and quality documentation.
- Understanding of scientific quality testing processes.
- Knowledge in chemistry.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with spray tests and grind tests.
- Proficiency in color matching.
Candidates will primarily work in the quality lab and office, with some visits to production areas for basic quality checks. Expect exposure to paint smells in certain areas. The position is for the 2nd shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with Friday as overtime.
Work Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
