Responsibilities
- Perform product tests and measures in accordance with product specifications.
- Correct non-conforming issues through necessary actions, adjustments, and changes.
- Monitor production activities according to established GMPs.
- Approve product specifications and manage line start-ups.
- Identify and document tests for product line start-ups.
- Conduct timely audits and inspections.
- Summarize and create quality data for customer shipments, including Certificates of Analysis (COA).
- Initiate and record product holds.
- Perform final product release for shipments.
- Assemble and file production test retains and records.
- At least 1+ years of quality inspection experience in a regulated environment.
- Experience in Flexible Packaging, Food, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical quality control.
- Proficiency in documenting results in both paper and electronic forms, using software such as Word, Excel, and proprietary systems like WinSPC.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- Background in Flexible Packaging, Food Packaging, Chemical Packaging, or Pharmaceutical Packaging.
This role involves working alongside production staff to perform quality checks, primarily on the production floor, approximately 95% of the time. Weekend overtime is voluntary, unless planned in advance. The work involves fast‑paced quality checks and audits/inspections every 20 to 30 minutes per production line. Quarterly bonuses are offered once hired.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 – $28.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
