Job DescriptionTitle: Sales Engineer
Are you a driven, outgoing individual who considers themselves a hunter? Do you have a passion for growing your sales career? We are looking for a Sales Engineer to prospect and engage customers within an exclusive and protected sales territory.
We seek a highly motivated person with proven presentation skills and effective sales techniques. As a Sales Engineer, you will develop new business, retain existing customers, and build strong client relationships. Your goal is to help customers achieve their business objectives with our product solutions. Autonomy, drive, and a winning attitude are essential. You will own the entire sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and close new business with both new and existing customers.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets within your territory and accounts.
- Travel regularly to consult with customers, determine needs, and prepare estimates and proposals.
- Manage turnkey projects, demonstrations, and related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and our product lines.
- Utilize (CRM) for prospecting and customer management.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous outside sales experience with manufactured equipment is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Effective closing skills.
- Mechanical/technical aptitude preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Range: $54,000 - $78,000 plus commissions, bonuses, and allowances. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with match, paid holidays, vacation, personal days, fuel reimbursement, car discounts, and Employee Assistance Program.
