Route Service Sales Representative - Cleanroom

Job DescriptionProvide service to a dedicated customer base through the pickup and delivery of specialized products in controlled business environments such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and food processing facilities. Drive a company‑owned truck to numerous customer stops throughout the day, lifting, carrying, and walking clean products into and soiled products out of customer accounts. Respond to customer inquiries and requests, proactively solve problems, and grow the existing route by selling additional items from our product line and catalog to current customers.
Specific routes and customers are assigned to build rapport between the RSSR and the customers serviced. Geographical route coverage is extensive and often includes customers in multiple states, requiring overnight travel typically one to two nights per week.
- Ability to travel overnight one to two nights per week
Qualified candidates must meet all DOT requirements for operating a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs. Prior to the first day of employment, candidates must:
- Have an active driver’s license
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Obtain a DOT medical certification
- Provide documentation regarding previous employment
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- A high‑school diploma, GED, or military service
- A strong customer‑service orientation
- Self‑motivation and the drive to work in a team‑based environment to meet goals
- A positive attitude, ambition, organization, and service spirit
