Providing security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, ancillary clinics and parking structures. Concentrates on the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff. Responding immediately to various dispatch calls as a visible deterrent, investigating unusual circumstances, assisting with de‑escalation, and performing security enforcement. Performs additional duties as assigned.

• 1 year of security experience or equivalent.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Proof of training in Froedtert‑approved DAAT (Defense and Arrest Techniques) course within the previous three years or ability to obtain certification within 120 days of hire (includes de‑escalation training).
• Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS‑700 and the IS‑100 courses within six months of hire.
• Completion of FTO (Field Training Officer) program within 120 days of hire.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and operation preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Push‑pull force generation up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Occasional stair climbing.
• Frequent walking.
• Ability to rise from the floor to standing independently.

• Valid driver's license required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or AHA approved equivalent required within three months of hire.
