As a Behavior Technician at WEAP, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through play‑based therapy known as applied behavior analysis (ABA). Job Details & Requirements
  • Working with children 18 mo–6 yrs old with autism in their homes or in one of our centers.
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Daily access to reliable transportation.
  • Schedule:

    Part‑Time or Full‑Time between 7 am–8 pm CST Monday–Friday and weekends.
  • Earn starting pay at $16 /hr and up based on ABA experience/training.
  • Location:

    Spring Valley, WI.
  • Minimum age 18 (on or before the first day of employment).
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Nice to have: bilingual English/Spanish, background in psychology or related fields, prior experience working with children, training in behavioral health, and passion for creating lasting positive change for children and families.
Physical Requirements

Physical requirements vary and are based on specific client assignments. You may be asked to engage in push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and move quickly. It is necessary to be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
