Overview
Licensed Therapist – First Episode Psychosis (FEP) & Community Support Program (CSP) Dunn County Human Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team. This dynamic role provides the opportunity to work across two impactful programs:
Choices, also known as First Episode Psychosis (FEP) and the Community Support Program (CSP). In this position, the licensed therapist will deliver direct therapeutic services to individuals experiencing early psychosis and those with serious and persistent mental illness. As well as provide clinical support and consultation to both multidisciplinary teams, helping to shape recovery-oriented care in a collaborative environment.

The anticipated starting wage is between $75,483 annually and $79,706 annually.
Responsibilities- Mental Health Therapist:
Provides therapy services using clinically appropriate techniques and approaches at the Department of Human Services or in the community. - Mental Health Therapist:
Evaluates and diagnoses mental health concerns and needs. - Mental Health Therapist:
Administers, completes, and evaluates mental health screeners such as the GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7), PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire-9), ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences), Resiliency Screener, couple’s/family screener, and Columbia Suicide Severity Screener. - Mental Health Therapist:
Maintains clinical flexibility and pivots between modalities (individual, couples, and family) based on client response, crisis needs, or evolving treatment direction. - Mental Health Therapist:
Develops treatment plans with consumers. - Mental Health Therapist:
Prepares for therapy sessions with consumers, including researching the best therapeutic approach, researching diagnosis, and preparing worksheets/homework. - Mental Health Therapist:
Researches and prepares curriculum for group therapy. - Mental Health Therapist:
Provides case management to clients and their team as needed. - Mental Health Therapist:
Provides clinical consultation and support to DHS staff, both with and without the consumer present, related to the direction of care and consumer safety. - Mental Health Therapist:
Collaborates with other service providers within and outside of DHS, including probation/parole, drug treatment court, family treatment court, physicians, family care teams, law enforcement, etc. - Crisis Case Worker / Crisis Coordinator:
Provides crisis assessments on a walk-in basis as well as crisis assessments to already established consumers. - Crisis Case Worker / Crisis Coordinator:
Completes crisis linkage and follow-up for persons who have interacted with the crisis system and/or been in a mental health crisis. - Crisis Case Worker / Crisis Coordinator:
Develops crisis plans and alerts for consumers at risk of needing crisis intervention. - Crisis Case Worker / Crisis Coordinator:
Maintains data for crisis services. - Crisis Case Worker / Crisis Coordinator:
Assists with the coordination of mental health crisis services within the Department of Human Services and Dunn County as a whole. - Crisis Case Worker / Crisis Coordinator:
Coordinates crisis stakeholder meetings and serves as a liaison between crisis services, law enforcement, DHS, hospital staff, the courts, and other community stakeholders. - Behavioral Health Case Management:
Attends Chapter 51 hearings and provides recommendations and testimony regarding treatment and placement. - Behavioral Health Case Management:
Serves as a liaison between law enforcement, Corporation Counsel, inpatient and outpatient placement providers, crisis services, and BHS clinic staff in assessment and treatment planning for consumers involved in emergency…
