Schedule: Full‑time, 1st shift, includes an every‑other weekend rotation.
Wage: starting $17.50 per hour.

What You Get To Do:
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) Float is a position designed to provide fill‑in or substitute coverage at any assigned service site and may be scheduled for hours that are vacant due to staff turnover, scheduling changes, or staff paid time off. Work assignments may be during any scheduled hours and at any sites where Dungarvin in Eau Claire, WI provides services.
Working directly as a DSP / Caregiver Float, you will assist people with disabilities to achieve a variety of outcomes, support personal care, and provide normalization/community integration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support and mentor in daily activities, ensuring health and safety while helping with meals, housekeeping, laundry, and facilitating enjoyable activities.
- Hands‑on mentoring to promote independence.
- Provide positive direction to encourage individuals to achieve personal goals.
- Assist with medication administration and maintain medical well‑being.
No Experience? We provide the necessary paid training and hands‑on experience.
QualificationsWhat Makes You A Great Fit:
- Excitement for working with adults with disabilities.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Good communication skills – reading, writing, and documentation of care, support plans, and collaboration.
- Valid Driver’s License (necessary for transporting persons served).
- Comfortable driving company vehicles as required; some positions may require personal vehicle and liability insurance.
- A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding process.
