The Manufacturing Engineer will improve operations, quality assurance, and processes in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, ensuring the production of customer products is performed efficiently and productively. The role supports, develops, and optimizes manufacturing operations for CNC, sheet metal, and additive technologies.

• Lead projects that analyze, review, and improve processes in CNC machining, additive manufacturing, metal fabrication, post-processing, finishing, and quality control.
• Apply continual improvement practices, including Lean Manufacturing principles, to reduce costs and waste while improving quality and profits.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, conduct internal reviews, CAPA, audits, or complaints.
• Utilize technical expertise on manufacturing best practices and implement new methods to enhance manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain documented procedures, corrective and preventive maintenance plans.
• Analyze production workflow to improve utilization, optimize efficiencies, and reduce bottlenecks.
• Review product drawings, CAD data, and specifications to ensure customer requirements are met, providing feedback on design for manufacturability.
• Oversee measuring and qualification activities, ensuring proper results and reporting, and communicate nonconforming product issues.
• Estimate costs and production times for small and large-scale manufacturing opportunities to maximize operational efficiencies.
• Investigate new manufacturing machinery, material testing equipment, and metrology systems, reporting recommendations for acquisition.
• Implement processes for operation, maintenance, and reporting of data (FAI, FAIR, PPAP).
