• Perform and document all basic technical and emergency nursing skills within the framework of licensure and as outlined on individual care plans
• Document care delivery observations, medications, and treatments promptly and accurately
• Provide direct resident care as needed
• Request RN assessment/consultation for residents who show a change of condition
• Use equipment and supplies in a precise, accurate and calm manner
• Assume charge nurse duties when assigned including, but not limited to, adjusting assignment and schedule to best meet needs of residents and appropriate use of personnel
• Under direction of the RN, monitor and document health status of all residents who are unstable or requiring intervention
• Participate in care planning
• Obtain needed intervention and monitor process or order follow-through
• Replace absent staff when necessary
• On‑call status as assigned
• Has access to confidential information/records and maintain confidentiality
• Project a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co‑workers, and public
• Other duties as assigned
• Transcribe physician orders
