The primary focus of this position is to oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager. The Deli Department Lead will ensure the Kitchen & Deli meet company merchandising standards, are fully stocked, and appealing to our guests. This individual is responsible for delivering continuous exceptional guest service, providing outstanding leadership to the Deli staff, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products, educating and assisting guests at the kitchen and deli counter, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, actively engaging guests through product samples and suggestive selling, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations.

• Oversee the Deli Department in the absence of the Department Manager
• Ensure Kitchen & Deli meet merchandising standards and remain fully stocked and appealing
• Deliver exceptional guest service and provide outstanding leadership to Deli staff
• Ensure superior quality and freshness of all salad and sliced meat products
• Educate and assist guests at the kitchen and deli counter
• Create a fun and friendly atmosphere; attract guests through product samples and suggestive selling
• Understand all health, safety and sanitation regulations
