Diesel Technician

Overview

Diesel Technician role at Love's Travel Stops. Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment and interact with customers and drivers to ensure safe and smooth travels.

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues that may include wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, or engine components
• Assist customers with roadside services
• Provide preventative maintenance services
• Maintain safety and satisfaction of customers by complying with company safety policies and procedures
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s)

• Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds and work in close quarters; ability to work in various temperatures
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card
• Customer-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment
