Field Service Technician- Walmart- Menomonie, WI

Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)

Site: Walmart in Menomonie, WI

The Field Service Technician will support our fuel cell products installed in electric lift trucks, including performing preventative maintenance and resolving breakdowns. Responsibilities include installation, servicing, reporting breakdown events, parts ordering, and maintenance at a specific location. The role involves significant interaction with customer personnel and operators, requiring excellent technical, communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• At least three years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting; formal training may be considered.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Knowledge of lift truck operation is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Own standard set of tools; specific fuel cell tools provided by Plug Power.

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
