About the Position

The Detail/Porter is key to maintaining the quality of initial assessment and successful delivery of customers  vehicles. This role cleans, moves and maintains vehicles while assisting the service department in various duties.

This is a full-time position working 7:45 am – 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The Detailer/Porter reports to the Collision Center Manager; pay will be commensurate with experience.

• Detail exterior and interior of vehicles to company standards
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner
• Porter vehicles around the lot and to other locations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior technical schooling or training related to the automotive field is preferred, but not required
• An above average level of automotive and/or mechanical knowledge
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check

• Walking/standing for most of the workday
• Frequent bending, stretching, lifting, reaching, and climbing
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Above average level of automotive and/or mechanical knowledge
• Good communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and vendors
