Role OverviewWe are hiring an Automotive Disassembly Technician for a full‑time position (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday). The Disassembly Technician works with Repair Planners to uncover concealed damage through a thorough disassembly process and assists with estimating repairs. The position reports to the Collision Center Manager.
Compensation: $16.00–$17.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, vision, dental; PTO; continuing education opportunities; paid holidays; paid volunteer program; paid life insurance; and a 401(k) with company match.
Essential Job Functions- Pre‑scanning of vehicle
- Removing upholstery, accessories, electrical/hydraulic window operating equipment, body panels, trim, and any other parts needed
- Micro‑bagging all hardware and small parts
- Building and organizing parts cart according to company standards
- Taking photos of complex wire routing, component assembly, and trim/emblem location
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of automobiles required
- At least 2 years of body shop experience required
- Proper tooling for the disassembly of vehicles
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
- Great attention to detail
- Effective communication

- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and ever‑changing environment
- Periodic lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds
- Reaching above and below shoulder level
- Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
- Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
- May be exposed to repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion
- May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high levels of dust and noise in repair center
