The vision of Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. Responsibilities- Administer assigned contracts of moderate scope and complexity to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations. Define requirements, generate and provide input for proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Handle order management, including moderate order entry, schedule changes, portal management, creation of Demand Plan as part of Sales and Operation Plan (S&OP), customer communication and PO/Contract review and analysis.
- Act as the point of contact with customers on assigned contracts, participate in customer presentations and manage contract negotiations within scope.
- Analyze performance requirements and customer purchase order requirements, evaluate delivery schedules, pricing, terms and conditions, and other contract provisions.
- Develop responses to moderately complex requests for proposal (RFP) and prepare and submit proposals. Negotiate contracts of moderate scope and complexity in accordance with legal and company regulations and policies.
- Investigate and resolve claims or complaints by collecting and analyzing information, coordinate with relevant functions on technical and/or quality issues.
- Monitor contract financial performance and delivery status, determine need for contract amendments or extensions, and determine when customer-directed changes are out-of-scope.
- Support export compliance administration or represent the site/division for implementation of export compliance actions.
- Maintain current professional and technical knowledge, participate in professional associations, comply with federal, state, and aerospace industry regulations, and advise management on needed actions.
- Utilize lean principles to develop and implement standard work.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or related discipline. Contract management certification preferred (e.g., NCMA, IACCM).
- At least two years of experience in contract administration or a directly related field.
- Knowledge of contract administration principles, industry practices, regulations, and policies.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to contract administration, export control, commercial contracting, and/or government contracting.
- Proficiency in standard business applications and specialized in‑house and customer systems.
- Strong analytical skills to read, analyze, and interpret contract terms and conditions.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions for follow‑on requirements.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey information to team members, leaders, and top management.
