We’re seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager (Empowered Official) to lead export and import compliance programs in a regulated aerospace environment. This role ensures compliance with ITAR, EAR, Customs, FTR, and CUI requirements while partnering closely with executive leadership, engineering, and global trade partners.

• Lead division-wide export/import compliance programs
• Act as Empowered Official approving licenses, TAAs, and MLAs
• Manage export licensing with DDTC, BIS, Commerce, and State
• Oversee CTPAT and secure government programs (CUI)
• Partner with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams
• Conduct compliance training and lead investigations
• Advise executive leadership on compliance risks and status

• 7+ years of trade compliance experience
• 5+ years of hands‑on ITAR & EAR export licensing
• Strong experience with TAAs, MLAs, and export licenses
• Knowledge of Customs, tariff codes, Importer of Record, and FTR
• Experience working with executive leadership
• Knowledge of CUI and secure data requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Business or related)
• CECP certification, JD, or MBA
• Experience with DECCS, SNAP‑R, and ACE
• Engineering background (nice to have)
