Alloy Precision Technologies is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support day‑to‑day customer, sales, and commercial‑ops needs for our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, this person will play a key role in support of our customer base, Sales Team, and larger organization. The CSR is responsible for developing strong, positive relationships with customers and other internal personnel to provide excellent customer service and insides sales services.

This position will be a “hands‑on” sales and sales‑support position requiring excellent inside and external coordination and communication efforts to execute assigned sales and customer service projects. The ideal candidate will come to the table with a positive attitude and approach their work with a positive, business‑like, and results‑oriented mindset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to sales personnel in handling incoming orders and customer needs. This person needs to proactively ensure that day‑to‑day customer needs are met.
  • The ideal candidate will be prepared to plan, prepare, coordinate, and execute assigned sales support activities in conjunction with the Customer Experience Manager, Sales Team personnel, Planning and Operations, and other personnel at APT as needed.
  • Lead APT’s internal Contract Review process to ensure alignment on internal and customer expectations and uphold industry certification and Quality Assurance requirements (ISO 9001, AS9100, ITAR, etc.)
  • Work with the Customer Experience Manager and team members on issues, contacts, and various account needs (reporting, weekly customer meetings, etc.)
  • Execute assigned sales calls and other assigned customer requests in a timely, prompt manner; promptly answer current and target client’s questions and needs with accurate information.
  • Minimal travel to current and target accounts and trade shows to maintain sound business relationships and develop new accounts may be required.
  • Implement process improvements as related to core responsibilities such as Contract Review, S&OP, RMA's, and order management.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Customer Experience Manager, as needed.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum high school education required.
  • A technical, industrial background is preferred, but not required (i.e. manufacturing, industrial sales or marketing, etc.)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office‑based environment) are required. Experience with computer database systems, such as Visual Manufacturing, is a plus.
  • Must have a high level of energy, be results‑oriented, confident, and have strong people skills.
  • Must be proactive, persistent and comfortable handling multiple projects and customers simultaneously; excellent prioritization skills are a must.
Supervisory Responsibilities

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit at computer for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to move throughout the shop floor.
Personal Protective Equipment

When on the shop floor, must wear slip‑appropriate safety shoes and safety glasses.
