My client is a well-established, growth-minded general contractor delivering ground-up commercial and multi-family projects. They are seeking a Project Engineer who wants hands‑on exposure, strong mentorship, and a long-term future moving toward project management.
This is not a "watch from the trailer" role. You'll be embedded in the work, learning how projects actually get built.

- You’ll be given real responsibility early, supporting subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and day‑to‑day problem solving.

- Support ground‑up commercial and multi‑family projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Assist with subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and document control.
- Help track schedules, budgets, and field progress.
- Be present onsite to identify issues early and help keep work moving efficiently.
- Learn how decisions are made and why as you grow toward a project management role.
- Construction Management degree or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
- Some onsite experience supporting commercial or multi‑family construction.
- Strong organizational skills and clear communication style.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues before they escalation.
- A genuine desire to grow into a project management role.
