My client is a well-established, growth-minded general contractor delivering ground-up commercial and multi-family projects. They are seeking a Project Engineer who wants hands‑on exposure, strong mentorship, and a long-term future moving toward project management.

This is not a "watch from the trailer" role. You'll be embedded in the work, learning how projects actually get built.

What You’ll Do

• Support ground‑up commercial and multi‑family projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Assist with subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and document control.
• Help track schedules, budgets, and field progress.
• Be present onsite to identify issues early and help keep work moving efficiently.
• Learn how decisions are made and why as you grow toward a project management role.

What You’ll Bring

• Construction Management degree or related field preferred; relevant experience considered.
• Some onsite experience supporting commercial or multi‑family construction.
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication style.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues before they escalation.
• A genuine desire to grow into a project management role.
