Burgess & Niple is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager/Sr. Design Engineer
. Join our team to create meaningful solutions that strengthen communities while advancing your professional expertise.
- Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects. Projects may include designs of wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations, and/or studies of wastewater and water systems
- Coordinate with B&N project teams, internally and externally
- Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and client relationship management
- Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery process
- Promote a positive team environment that enhances our exceptional corporate culture
- Maintain quality control of services and deliverables
- Provide mentoring and training to younger staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio
- 10+ years of related water/wastewater experience
- Self-motivated and adaptable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Project management experience a plus. Treatment process knowledge and experience is a plus
- Hydraulic modeling of collection systems and/or distribution systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; experience with AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or hydraulic modeling software is a plus
