What You'll Do- Conduct field inspections and document construction activities
- Interpret design drawings and specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with contractors on-site
- Perform soil and concrete material testing
- Prepare clear and concise written field reports
- Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design or provide Project Management support
- Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:
- Stormwater management design
- Site grading
- Erosion and sediment control design
- Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
- Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
- Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put full effort toward the task at hand
- Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer
- Associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
- 2-4 years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
- Familiarity with Hydro
CAD or other stormwater modeling software - Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
- EIT preferred
- Familiarity with ArcGIS software is preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
The compensation range starts at $70,000 and is based on the position, experience, and licensure.
