Education
B.S. degree in Engineering or Material Science. Knowledge of blueprints and airfoil specifications a definite asset. Working knowledge of Laue, ultrasonic wall inspection is a plus.

WorkExperience
One to Three years aerospace or IGT quality experience preferred. Experience which combines both customer contact and technical discipline will also be considered.
Principal Area of ResponsibilityDesign, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
Specific Duties- Maintain, monitor and develop systems relating to ISO, AS9100, NADCAP and other similar industry standards.
- Develop and maintain Quality systems with the customer and manufacturing organization to ensure delivery of quality products.
- Direct involvement with advanced NDT development, training and implementation on strategic engine programs.
- Interface with customer representative for source inspections and quality issue resolution.
- Responsible for review of customer drawings, specifications, etc. to identify customer quality requirements – product and system.
- Prepare inspection instructions for radiographic, fluorescent penetrant, grain etch, visual and dimensional inspection.
- Perform audits to monitor product quality/ISO requirements and support manufacturing/inspection training activity as needed.
- Quality investigations as required to identify and eliminate scrap/rework causes and customer issues.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
- The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.
