The Engineering Technician is responsible for process improvements and the documentation of such processes in accordance with Core‑Tech and customer specifications.

• Demonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Record‑keeping skills
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Ability to use customer‑supplied gauging
• Write procedures and or work instructions for all aspects of the process
• Maintaining lot tractability
• Troubleshooting problems throughout the process
• Support engineering in the testing of material and facilitating the outsourcing of such testing

• Demonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Demonstrate the ability to use both liquid and dry measuring devices (i.e. scale and graduated cylinder)
• Record‑keeping skills
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Maintaining traceability
• A positive attitude
• Great attendance

The Engineering Technician reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and has a support responsibility to all functional managers.

The Engineering Technician should have a technical degree or be working towards one, preferably in a field that offers an opportunity to gain a well‑rounded background. Additional classwork in management‑type courses and problem‑solving techniques are preferred but not needed (i.e. Statistical Quality Control/Statistical Process Control). Must be able to read instructions as well as blueprints and also apply basic mathematical skills.
