Civil Engineer 1 – Underground Structures

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Senior Civil Engineer, act as a technical sales support capacity for our product lines including:
  • Design consultation with technical and sales team members and customers during project design and value engineering alternate phases
  • Installation consultation during construction phase
  • Operation & maintenance consultation post-construction.
• Use Microsoft Dynamics Customer Relationship Manager software on an as-needed basis
• Assist the Senior Civil Engineer with creation and maintenance of technical tools and documentation including:
  • Standard design details
  • Written instructions and guides
  • Internal and external presentations
  • Internal calculation tools
• Assist the Senior Civil Engineer and Research and Development team members with our product line developments to ensure that the product line remains relevant to the market applications.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSE) from an ABET-accredited institution
• 0 - 3 year’s experience in the civil engineering industry
• Knowledge of Civil Site Development including but not limited to site layout, grading, underground infrastructure, and geotechnical report interpretation
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or pursuit of (EIT) preferred
• Proficient AutoCAD preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
• Available for occasional short-term travel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, adapting to new challenges, and learning new concepts;
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage workloads, maintain accurate and detailed record-keeping skills, documenting design/construction process, and problem resolutions.
• Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and team members, fostering positive working relationships, customer-centric approach to provide excellent service to customers, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
• Demonstrates ethical conduct, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring safety and security in all aspects of work, strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, fostering a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Pay range $55,000 - $70,000
