The Behavioral Wellness Group, a respected, independent private practice in Bluffton, South Carolina, is excited to announce a search for Psychiatric Prescribers to join our growing team. We are seeking dedicated clinicians who value a collaborative, professional atmosphere that encourages both personal and professional growth. Full-time and part-time positions are available for in-office, virtual, or hybrid models, with flexible scheduling options including day, evening, and weekend appointments to fit your needs.

Populations served include adults and children with mood, anxiety, depressive, bipolar, dual diagnosis, substance use, and personality disorders. Responsibilities include assessing medical history and physiological, psychological, and/or behavioral factors to determine the cause of mental disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and administering appropriate psychiatric interventions.

• State of South Carolina board certification/eligibility
• Certificate of Prescriptive Authority
• Valid Medicare provider number (if serving that population)
• Working knowledge and application of the DSM and ICD-10 coding
• Ability to work independently in a private practice setting

• Examine, evaluate, diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders
• Obtain and evaluate data through interview techniques
• Prepare and review case histories
• Prescribe and evaluate effectiveness of a wide range of therapeutic measures
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary staff
• Opportunity for involvement with our Intensive Outpatient Programs
• Maintain accurate and current notes in the Electronic Health Record for all patients seen
