We are currently looking for a professional and passionate individual for the role of Vice President of Operations
. The Vice President of Operations (VPO) serves as a key executive leader, partnering closely with the President & CEO to provide high-level oversight and strategic direction for all operational functions of the organization. This role ensures seamless integration of administrative, clinical, and support services to advance the mission and sustainability of the FQHC Look‑Alike agency.
The VPO is responsible for driving operational excellence through leadership of core functions, including:
- Performance and Quality Improvement
- Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Health Information Management and Medical Records
- Staff Training and Development
- Facilities and Safety Management
- Administrative Services and Office Support
Primary
Responsibilities include:
- Champions continuous improvement methodologies, operational efficiency, and fiscal accountability.
- Provides executive oversight to strengthen organizational systems, processes, and policies in alignment with the agency’s mission and strategic priorities.
- Leads the assessment and implementation of process improvements and emerging technologies, ensuring collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors for successful execution.
- Contributes to organizational financial planning through informed budget forecasting and resource allocation.
- Ensures all operational areas under supervision maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as funding and accreditation standards.
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related area required.
- 10 years experience of progressive senior operational management in a nonprofit organization.
- Five plus (5+) years of proven history and knowledge finance, budget and accounting principles.
- Five plus (5+) years of proven progressive history or knowledge solicitation requests for proposals from development processing, choosing and monitoring performance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must have an acceptable driving record (4 points or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
