Core Injector

Injection Molding and Poured Core

The Core Injector is responsible for the injection of cores in accordance with Core-Tech and customer specifications.

• Demonstrate the ability to set up and run ceramic injection machines
• Demonstrate the ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Record-keeping skills
• Ability to use calipers and micrometers
• Ability to use injection tooling
• Visual inspection of cores and tooling
• Loading of cores in saggers and setter blocks in accordance with instructions
• Use and maintaining core cure fixtures/setters/burn fixtures/core dies
• Maintaining product traceability

• Must be able to read instructions and also apply basic mathematical skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

The Core Injector reports directly to the Plant Supervisor or Poured Core Manager
