Manufacturing Supervisor (Wax Injection) - 2nd Shift (Mentor, OH)

APD has been supplying part assembly for the Investment Casting Industry for more than 18 years. This position requires an experienced manufacturing supervisor. Experience with wax injections is a plus. Excellent attendance is required and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisor role.

• Maintain Production Schedule
• Maintain Quality Standards
• Direct/Supervise Employees
• Resolve Production and Scheduling Issues
• Communicate Information to hourly personnel and management
• Hold employees accountable for job responsibilities
• Assess machines for repairs
• Update schedule as needed
• Conduct quality checks during the shift
• Review production report per injection employee
• Perform end‑of‑shift checks (e.g., presses are clean, safety switches intact)
• Complete any additional responsibilities required of the position

• Minimum of a high school diploma
• Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Lifting truck operator certificate is a plus

• Ability to read and understand directions related to customer specifications
• Bilingualism is a plus

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally the employee is required to sit, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
