In this role, you will be a results‑oriented team player who drives accountability, quality, and efficiency across the department and the company. You will be a strong communicator who enjoys collaborating with others to improve various aspects of the organization.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Manufacturing Machinist – Entry Level requires a limited experience base but a strong desire to learn. You will work with manual and CNC lathes in a collaborative environment and take pride in producing exceptional components.
Responsibilities- Perform setup on manual and CNC lathes.
- Verify conformance of finished workpiece(s) to specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other tools.
- Review drawings, instructions, and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Load and unload parts and operate multiple machines as needed.
- Stay on task and ensure the scheduled work for the day is completed on time.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel)
- CSI
- UKG
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED;
Technical Program Certification preferred. - Experience:
- 1–2 years operating manual and CNC lathes.
- 1–2 years setting up manual machines (preferred).
- Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Familiarity with Proto
TRAK (preferred).
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
- Fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing setting.
- Requires close collaboration with production and engineering teams on‑site.
Compensation range: $21.00–$23.00 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes medical plans, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement participation, paid time off, and more!
