Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to Dept. 630 Supervisor

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and may be substituted by experience.

Personal Characteristics: Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity. Able to work flexible hours. Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Strong sense of urgency. Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently. Maintains positive work atmosphere through respectful communication.

Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year stable manufacturing experience, preferably in chemical process or ceramic industry. Experience with hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools.

The Operator in Clean & Cap must be able to perform operations efficiently in performing duties.

• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with MSDS and company policy.
• Perform clean and cap operations including clean & cap tasks, mega dip, maintenance of automated equipment, mold prep, dewax, flashfire, and special lot expediting.
• Meet efficiency standards established by Engineering.
• Record daily work performed and correct distribution of work time by operational codes.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly following safety rules.
• Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Any additional responsibilities as required or assigned.

• Must handle high stress associated with high activity and tight deadlines.
• Must pass a physical, vision, and hearing test.
• Pass the visual acuity exam.
