Manufacturing Shift Supervisor – Accessories Department

Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (4 days on, 4 days off, rotating schedule)

• Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements, manage absentee coverage.
• Meet overall performance metrics of the shift.
• Provide on-the-job training to employees.
• Maintain and uphold all quality standards, including safety, quality, housekeeping, attendance, conduct, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of all production activities.
• Evaluate team performance.
• Interact with other departments to ensure proper system function.
• Troubleshoot processes, equipment, and quality problems to facilitate maximizing efficiency.
• Initiate new job start‑ups when required.
• Effectively manage scrap control and reduction.
• Engage in plan development and implementation.
• Delegate work to subordinates when necessary to ensure efficiency and timely completion of all tasks.
• Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately.
• Ensure that all completed orders are closed out and the product is transferred to the correct location.
• Required attendance at daily production meetings.
• Maintain current certification for First Aid/CPR/AED.
• Interact with Maintenance to maximize efficiency of all production lines.

• HS diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three to five years of production supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance and thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of all duties.
