Graphic Design Coordinator/Marketing Assistant
D&S Automotive was founded in 1977 and has since grown to become a leader in Northeast Ohio collision repair and automobile restyling. The company is locally owned and headquartered in Mentor, Ohio, with a total of six locations—two in Mentor, and one each in Chardon, Elyria, Kirtland, and North Ridgeville. In addition to collision repair services, we also have an automotive glass repair company called Defender Auto Glass, founded in 2014, which offers the same great experience as D&S Automotive.
About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Graphic Design Coordinator/Marketing Assistant to join our team. This role combines graphic design and marketing support responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with a passion for both visual design and marketing strategies. The successful candidate will coordinate design projects, create marketing materials, and support various marketing initiatives, including those outside of business hours.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Onsite, Headquarters in Mentor, OH
Reports To: Marketing Manager

Essential Job Functions- Graphic Design & Production:
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to design and enhance high‑quality materials for both digital and print formats, including brochures, newsletters, posters, banners, invitations, flyers, and social media content. - Marketing Event Support:
Support the Marketing Manager with the planning and execution of marketing events, including those occurring outside regular business hours. - Campaign Support:
Assist with planning, implementing, and monitoring marketing campaigns. - Brand & Apparel Design:
Develop innovative designs for apparel, logos, and branded materials while ensuring alignment with brand identity. - Interactive Form Development:
Design and develop interactive, user‑friendly forms through Adobe Acrobat that meet organizational needs. - Project Management:
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld. - Email & SMS Marketing:
Assist with creation and execution of SMS and Email marketing campaigns through Klaviyo, including CRM management. - Intranet Content Support:
Assist the HR Department with posting and updating content across the company’s intranet. - Market Research:
Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and target audience preferences to inform marketing strategies. - Agency & Vendor
Collaboration:
Collaborate with other agencies and vendor partners. - Networking & Community Engagement:
Attend networking opportunities as they arise, e.g., Chamber of Commerce events. - Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in graphic design within a marketing or advertising setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
- Strong creative skills with a portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.
- Keen eye for detail and consistency in design work.
- Working knowledge of Meta platforms (Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Ads, and other social media channels).
- Exposure to email campaign software (Klaviyo) is a plus.
- Prior experience working on e‑commerce (Big Commerce) marketing content is a plus.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check.
