This is a Delivery Driver opportunity that truly delivers on being a NAPA brand ambassador! Does being out on the open road (not in the office/store all day) get you excited? Whatyou'll be doing:
- Deliver parts to our customers with a passion for developing relationships
- Picks up parts from vendors, ensures stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain/check inventory
- Consistently focuses on safety while driving and delivering our parts
- Serves as a NAPA Brand Ambassador when meeting customers during deliveries
- Builds long‑term relationships with the customers you deliver to
- Maintains the store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists, ensuring the vehicle is clean, and that basic maintenance is done (e.g., correct tire pressure)
- Other duties as needed
- Love to work independently, enjoy driving (safely), and engage with customers face to face
- Take pride in the work that you do and focus on safety and reliability each day
- Want to be part of a company focused on finding fixes for customers where no two days are the same
- Thrive in a fast‑moving environment and enjoy being busy while part of a “second family”
- Are a student or retired and want a company that offers a flexible schedule
- Agility to bend to floor‑level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with the use of a stool or ladder when necessary, and stamina to stand, walk entire shifts, and lift up to 60 lbs of merchandise
- Able to handle cash charge transactions correctly and process core/part returns appropriately
- Maintains a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries and pickups made
- Inspects, protects, and maintains company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building, and people
- Clear speaking and attentive listening skills
- Driving throughout the metropolitan area using maps and directions
- Able to be flexible with your schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
