Our Interns are integral members of our esteemed accounting firm, gaining valuable hands‑on experience and exposure to the world of professional accounting. This internship opportunity is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the accounting industry, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting while working alongside experienced professionals.
The Tax Team internship begins in January and continues through April 15th.
Ideal candidates are Juniors or Seniors pursuing an Accounting degree.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute tasks related to tax return preparation, such as organizing financial data, performing calculations, and ensuring accuracy in compliance with tax regulations.
- Actively engage with the tax team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with the tax team in client interactions, addressing client needs and expectations.
- Actively participate in the conceptualization and execution of tax planning initiatives for clients.
- Contribute to the documentation process, ensuring transparency and clarity in project-related information.
- Gain practical experience in preparing tax returns, working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Gain proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced professional setting.
