Construction Site Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced construction superintendent who can lead our labor crew and subcontractors. You'll help our construction company plan and manage projects from start to finish for homeowners. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, maintaining the safety and compliance of a construction site, and supervising all activities. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction field experience with leadership skills in managing general contractors highly preferred.

• Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed
• Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner
• Discuss the project's costs with clients and make sure the project stays within budget
• Hire subcontractors and verify that they have all the required permits
• Prepare a written proposal for homeowners that includes a cost estimate for the project
• Oversee general contractors and subcontractors in our residential construction projects
• Recruit, hire and manage contractors and subcontractors to help meet and exceed our goals (on time, under budget, high quality)
• Improve systems and documentation (scopes of work, checklists, etc.) within our construction operations
• Streamline construction operations (time and money) to maximize profitability
• Manage quality control within the company by inspecting work, communicating with vendors, providing feedback

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building permits, building codes, construction equipment, material resources, construction methods, and project management principles
• Must have general contractor license
• Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds
• Must have a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role
• At least 5 years of previous experience as a general contractor required, preferably with some additional managerial experience Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000 yearly
