We are seeking an Asphalt / Concrete Foreman to lead daily activities of the asphalt and concrete crew. The right individual for the role will bring strong knowledge of asphalt and concrete installation, maintenance, and repair projects, have a demonstrated history of leading and managing construction crews, be detail- and quality-oriented, and enjoy working in a growing company.
Job Responsibilities
The Asphalt / Concrete Foreman will:
Lead and supervise a crew of 3-5 team members.
Plan and execute asphalt and concrete maintenance, patching, and construction jobs for residential and commercial clients.
Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Operate and maintain equipment, including trucks, skid steers, excavators, rollers, saws, and hand tools.
Train crew members.
Maintain accurate records of time and materials used on job sites.
Work closely with the Operations Manager and Project Manager to schedule and plan projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in asphalt and concrete projects, including 1 year leading projects as foreman.
High attention to detail and quality.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor crew members.
Ability to operate and maintain equipment.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with clean driving record.
Valid Commercial Drivers License is a plus.
