Adjunct Faculty: Biochemistry

Concordia University Wisconsin seeks qualified applicants for the part-time position of Adjunct Chemistry Instructor to teach nursing chemistry and biochemistry for the spring 2028 semester in the School of Arts & Sciences on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus. More introductory and general chemistry courses in the fall 2027 semester may also be available for the candidate interested in gaining teaching experience in a more full-time role.

• Teach academic 6 - 15 credits per year, or the equivalent
• Assist in student advising and mentoring
• Provide evaluation
• Responsible for meeting with assigned students throughout the semester
• Provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis.
• Adjunct faculty reports to the chair and performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the university
• All other duties as assigned

A master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field is required, doctorate preferred. Candidates must possess effective teaching skills. Teaching experience at the high school or undergraduate level is beneficial.
