The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, project management, and effective communication skills.

Your mission:
- Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract. This includes observing construction, reviewing and signing documents, and communicating with MSA staff, contractors, and clients.
- Communicates professionally with clients, contractors and builds ongoing business relationships
- Perform engineering calculations for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects.
- Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM, and CADD for project analysis, study, and design.
- Assist in creating cost estimates for projects.
- Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design.
- Conduct field investigations or inspections ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment.
WHAT YOU BRING
Education
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree or related Engineering field experience
- Seven years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
- Knowledge of the philosophies, principals, practices, and techniques of engineering
- Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, and/or CADD
- Strong interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues
- Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems
- Ability to mentor less experienced staff

- Designer of Engineering Systems License in WI with IA, IL, and/or MN preferred
