Engineering Technician Level 3

Join our dynamic team in Mequon, WI, where innovation meets practicality. We are seeking a skilled professional to support engineering activities involving the design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro‑mechanical systems. This role includes working with experimental design circuitry and specialized test equipment, with applications in analog, digital, and video circuits, as well as logic systems.

• Working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
• Performing operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
• Assisting in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
• Contributing to the design, construction, testing, and checkout of test equipment.
• Utilizing manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
• Frequently interacting with peers and customers to exchange or present factual information.
• Working on moderately difficult assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.

Assignments are received in the form of objectives with goals, and the process by which to meet those goals. The role requires minimal instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

This position typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Candidates should have a substantial understanding of the job and the ability to apply their knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
