Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a WI or compact RN license, telemetry experience, and EPIC proficiency.

• Position is in a hospital medical/surgical unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Adult med/surg patient population with telemetry monitoring responsibilities
• Requires telemetry background and ability to read telemetry
• Use of EPIC EMR
• May be required to float within skill set or to locations within 40 miles if needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday scheduling required
• Expected to maintain short natural nails without artificial or acrylic enhancements
• May be required to float to other sites within a 40-mile radius based on staffing needs
• Holiday and every other weekend coverage is mandatory
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate according to facility radius rule
• COVID vaccination is not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification from AHA required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Nursys verification and license/certification primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address
