RN, Mequon Hospital Med​/Surg

Job Summary

Performs primary nursing functions of assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Inpatient Unit to patients of all ages suffering from various types of illness or trauma. The RN serves as a professional role model by collaborating with clinical and front office staff, administration and other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care is delivered to optimal patient outcomes.

NH-MEQUON COMMUNITY HOSP facility, Mequon, WI. This is an on‑site position. FTE: 0.30. Standard hours: 12.00 hours. Shift: Shift

A minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital inpatient/telemetry unit or equivalent is required. Preferred: 2 years of experience.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice is required. Completion of a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing is required to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

A current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
