Swim Instructor

Elite Sports Clubs, Milwaukee’s best fitness and recreation center, are seeking enthusiastic and engaging individuals to join our swim Instructor team . As a Swim Instructor at Elite Sports Clubs, you will have the opportunity to teach swim lessons in a supportive and dynamic environment, helping individuals of all ages and abilities develop their swimming skills and water confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct swim lessons for individuals and small groups, following established curriculum and lesson plans.
• Provide hands-on instruction and guidance to participants, focusing on stroke technique, water safety, and skill development.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and abilities of each swimmer, ensuring a positive and effective learning experience.
• Monitor and provide evaluation results of swimmer progression including recommendation of next swim level.
• Effectively teach and monitor water safety rules and techniques to swimmers and families.
• Communicate effectively with participants and parents, addressing questions, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Previous experience teaching swim lessons preferred, but not required.
  Experience as a camp counselor, sports coach or childcare provider a plus!
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of swim strokes, techniques and water safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with individuals of all ages and abilities.
