Base pay range: $70,200 /yr – $84,000 /yr. This role is a temporary position with a salary range of $70,200 to $84,000 per year.

About the Job

As a member of the College Corps staff, this position uses seasoned program skills to develop, organize, and oversee College Corps recruitment processes for host sites and fellows. The role applies grant‑specific practices to enhance campus‑community partnerships, provides timelines, rubrics, and resources for host‑site and fellow recruitment, and manages regular communication and reporting to all constituents. The professional demonstrates knowledge of grants and grant management, oversees recruitment and training, and supports operations across campus departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management and completion of required fellow records, background checks, and documentation while providing training and oversight for online hours tracking platforms.
  • Assist the Grant Administrator with financial management, reporting, facilities reservations, technology use, and compliance with budgetary procedures.
  • Coordinate post‑award activities using grant and contract management rules, monitor budgets, and prepare local transfer of funds.
  • Develop and prepare budgets and financial reports for funding, including State and federal submissions.
  • Participate in human resources activities such as employment, training, classification, and payroll for the unit.
  • Logistics support for fellow program activities, campus visits, and summer events.
  • Develop procedures for supply inventory and equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate regularly with fellows to maintain service records and report irregularities, working closely with Program Manager and Fellow Support Coordinator.
  • Supervise student employees, recruit, hire, and train student staff, and provide professional evaluation and development.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in data management and knowledge of College Corps or Ameri Corps compliance and program requirements (preferred).
  • Relevant work experience that developed essential skills, knowledge, and abilities for this role.
  • Direct knowledge of University of California policies and procedures is preferred.

Critical Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
  • Proficiency with common university computer applications and risk assessment.
  • Understanding of student affairs/student life specialization.
  • Strong judgment, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Project management skills and ability to develop original ideas for problem solving.
