We’re seeking a full-time Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our commercial construction team. You’ll play a key role in shaping our projects from the ground up—preparing accurate estimates, analyzing plans, coordinating with teams, and helping ensure every project meets our high standards.

• Perform advanced takeoffs and data input using estimating software
• Review bid documents to determine full project scope
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and related documentation to develop accurate labor, material, and time estimates
• Prepare and present complete estimate documentation, including identified gaps or assumptions
• Develop preliminary planning estimates and detailed itemized estimates based on final plans and specifications
• Track and analyze estimating data to minimize variances between estimated and actual costs
• Review estimates and proposals for accuracy, completeness, value-engineering opportunities, and alignment with strategic goals
• Attend job turnover and close-out meetings and prepare required documentation
• Review material pricing from purchasing and suppliers and update estimating databases and procedures accordingly
• Maintain current market data to accurately estimate construction, material, and soft costs
• Follow up on all bid projects and forecast potential awards and probabilities

• Advanced knowledge of commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC systems
• Strong understanding of the HVAC construction bidding process and on-screen takeoff platforms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to exceeding expectations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical manuals
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate results on schedule
