Role

Behavior Technician

Join our team to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) thrive. We provide high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to young children (ages 18 months to six years) in a supportive environment. We are seeking compassionate and driven individuals to join as Behavior Technicians.

About the Role:

As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with ASD, helping them develop essential social, behavioral, and daily living skills. You will implement evidence-based treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support each child s growth and success in the classroom and community.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work one-on-one with clients to collect data on skill acquisition and behavioral progress, recorded digitally on iPads.
  • Reduce behavioral excesses by following structured treatment plans.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • During downtime, perform janitorial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting toys and surfaces, dishwashing, trash disposal, and stocking restrooms and kitchens.

Requirements/Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about making a difference in children's lives and meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in ABA, psychology, child development, or related fields is a plus.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use an Apple iPad daily for data tracking and communication.
  • Availability: Minimum of 16 hours per week, in four-hour blocks, within operating hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM).
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Health Requirements: Ability to provide immunization records, including TB test clearance (reasonable accommodations for vaccinations available).
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience with children, especially those with special needs; bachelor s degree in psychology, education, or related fields.
