Behavior Technician – Join Our Team to Make a Difference!Are you passionate about helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) thrive? We are dedicated to providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to young children (ages 18 months to six years) in a supportive and nurturing environment.
About the RoleAs a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them develop essential social, behavioral, and daily living skills. Using a playful and positive approach, you will implement evidence‑based treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support each child's growth and success in the classroom and community.
Responsibilities- Work one-on-one with clients to collect data on skill acquisition and behavioral progress, recorded digitally on iPads.
- Implement structured treatment plans to reduce behavioral excesses.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members to ensure optimal client outcomes.
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting toys and surfaces, dishwashing, trash disposal, stocking restrooms and kitchens during downtime.
- In-House RBT Training – Comprehensive training at no cost, with a high pass rate for the board certification exam. Dedicated training team mentors to achieve certification within 90 days.
- Supportive Supervision – On‑site supervisor with consistent guidance, quarterly performance reviews, monthly meetings, and regular team bonding activities.
- Career Growth Opportunities – Paths beyond Technician role, including training coordinator, case assistant, case manager, BCBA supervision for graduate students, and ongoing supervision for maintaining RBT certification.
- Work‑Life Balance – Predictable schedule, Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑6:00 PM, no evenings, weekends, or driving.

$17.50 - $20 USD
Full compensation package based on candidate experience and certifications.
Requirements / Qualifications- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in ABA, psychology, child development, or related fields is a plus.

Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and daily use of Apple iPad for data tracking and communication. - Availability: Minimum 16 hours per week in four‑hour blocks, within Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM‑6:00 PM.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- Health Requirements: Provide health clearances and immunization documentation per California guidelines (TB test, MMR, Varicella).
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience with children, especially those with special needs, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, child development, or related fields.
