This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position.
Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is STEP 1: $29.03 - STEP 18: $42.34. The salary or hourly range the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is STEP 1: $29.03.

Working under the direction of the Assistant Director of Staffing, Training & Development and Administration staff, the Auxiliaries Employment Coordinator will develop and coordinate the recruitment efforts and strategies for the division of Auxiliaries Enterprise and Fiscal Innovation. The coordinator will work with hiring managers within the AFI portfolio to conduct recruitment for professional staff. The incumbent will assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding aspects for both career and student staff.
The coordinator and student administration staff will represent AFI by attending career fairs, tabling internal and external events, and developing marketing tools to support recruitment efforts for the AFI portfolio.
- Staff Recruitment Support:
- Manages and administers all aspects of the staff recruitment processes including but not limited to finance, facilities, payroll, space planning, student services, human resources, communications, informational technology or safety.
- Participates in developing and revising standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Assesses and recommends changes to maintain compliance with federal and state requirements and internal policies.
- Submits staff HR requests.
- Supports hiring managers in organizing recruitments such as interview setup and communication.
- Oversees new hire checklists and submits requests.
- Assists in maintaining departmental organizational charts.
- Submits separations to Payroll for staff in a timely manner.
- Oversees communications to new hires.
- Submits access and physical key requests as needed.
- Monitors required trainings through onboarding.
- Participates in campus tabling events to market Dining & Retail operations and career opportunities for both student and staff positions.
- Promotes staff jobs within the departments.
- Student Employee Hiring & Onboarding:
- Manages and administers all aspects of the student employee hiring and onboarding programs and processes including finance, facilities, payroll, space planning, student services, human resources, communications, informational technology or safety.
- Participates in developing and revising standard operating procedures and guidelines.
- Submits requests to Student Employment for job postings, hiring intakes, separations, rate changes, etc.
- Organizes the recruitment efforts for large volume student hiring.
- Keeps hiring managers informed regularly of their hiring requests and needs and keeps all tracking information up to date.
