OVERVIEW:
The role of the Social Services Coordinator is to maintain a highly efficient front office and be a good representation of The Salvation Army to all clients who seek assistance.
- Be the first point of contact for all clients
- Maintain files up to date
- Maintain Wellsky data entry
- Assess client needs and schedule appointments
- Screen clients for various Salvation Army programs and complete applications
- Prepare food bags, including bagging dry goods
- Oversee donated items
- Collect Brown Bag breakfast sign-in sheets and input data in Well Sky
- Prepare statistical reports monthly
- Assist with seasonal social services events
- Act as backup support to enter grants & contracts for weekly finance meetings
- Assist with emergency and disaster services work
- Attend meetings and trainings
- Shop for supplies at the Foodbank
- Other related duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CA driver’s license (required)
- Ability to lead

- Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
