Laundry Attendant

Era Living is seeking part-time Laundry Attendants to become the newest member of our Housekeeping team located in the Aljoya Mercer Island Community, Mercer Island, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Wednesday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

$20.76/hr - $22.76/hr

The Laundry Attendant performs day-to-day laundry functions including: collecting dirty laundry, sorting, and pre-spotting when necessary; washing, drying, folding & ironing laundry using industrial sized equipment. This position will also serve as a back-up housekeeper in times of absence, performing routine cleaning duties. Able to work varying shifts Wednesday-Friday.

• Possess basic knowledge and mechanical ability to perform routine Housekeeping/ Laundry functions in a health care institution
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record, high performance standards, and a positive attitude
• Ability to perform duties in compliance with established Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control and sanitation procedures, and Era Living policies and procedures
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

• Previous experience preferred
