Overview
Do you know digital media inside and out and spot opportunities others miss? Are you a strategic thinker who understands how audiences, platforms, and KPIs connect to business outcomes? Vision Media is looking for a hands-on Digital Activation Manager to turn smart media plans into high performance campaigns.
You’ll translate client media plans into clear activation strategies, analyze performance, and deliver optimization POVs that supports business relevant KPIs, working alongside the Senior Digital Activation Manager.
Responsibilities- Translate media plans into channel specific activation direction aligned to client business objectives across programmatic video, audio, display, social, and search
- Build digital activation strategies structured to achieve client KPIs through audience targeting and measurement design
- Provide optimization recommendations that support client KPIs and platform performance
- Analyze campaign performance trends in the context of client business outcomes
- Prepare client insights and reporting by reviewing existing dashboards and platform reporting
- Guide clients through reporting results and campaign performance narratives, reinforcing optimization recommendations
- Work with Ad Ops to align campaign measurement needs, including tagging strategy, and to ensure dashboards reflect the right metrics and pacing for client goals
- Conduct QA for media setup to validate alignment to approved client objectives and activation direction
- Communicate campaign changes and optimization direction to internal teams
- Stay ahead of platform updates and evolving digital measurement capabilities to inform strategy and recommendations
- 3–5+ years in digital activation, media buying, or ad operations
- Hands-on experience activating campaigns in major platforms (Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, DV360, Trade Desk, etc.)
- Strong understanding of platform-specific bidding mechanics, targeting strategies, and performance levers across programmatic, social, and search
- Track record of successfully optimizing media campaigns against performance KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, and CPL
- Strong attention to detail in campaign setup, tagging, and tracking QA
- Proficiency in using analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, GA4, Tapclicks, Excel, etc.)
- Understanding of audience targeting strategy, reach/frequency, and digital measurement frameworks
- Proven problem solver that understands how every toggle, setting, bid factor, and lever can impact campaign results
- Clear communicator who can translate strategy into execution steps
- Comfortable supporting teams and client leads in fast-paced environments
- Experience with project management tools like Asana or is a plus
Salary $75,000-$100,000
